1. Suzzanne was born into small business
She helped her father in her primary school years in his family business. Maybe this was the genesis of her future business coaching ambitions! She realised from an early age that she had a passion for inspiring people to turn their dreams and ambitions into reality, drawing personal strength from a solid background of over 25 years’ experience in key business management roles and a rainbow of life experiences. Suzzanne is driven to live an authentic, fulfilled life and has inspired many others to do the same.
2. Suzzanne Walks the WALK and Talks the TALK
She founded and directed Laidlaw (Aust) Pty Ltd, (1989 -2003) .This was started from the back room of her father’s business. Along with her husband, she grew it to be the major supplier of word finishing equipment in W.A. After a year, she moved the business to its own premises by buying a commercial property in West Perth. The company continued to grow employing 7 staff members and becoming the exclusive agent for a number of European, Chinese and Korean brands. She soon realised that the business needed more and so she employed anActionCOACH business coach based in Perth, to help turn the business into a commercial profitable business that could work without her.
3. Highly motivated business coach with solid family orientated values
Suzzanne incredibly overcame a life threatening disease at 33 which involved 6 major general anaesthetics and living with a colostomy bag. She has also been happily married to David Laidlaw since 1985 with two beautiful children. Not long after they got married, Suzzanne saved her husband’s life by pulling him from a burning house and supporting him through years of pain, skin graft operations and rehabilitation.
Suzzanne’s personal and sporting achievements will inspire you to take ACTION. She is a very well person in the triathlon community, competing at the top level for over 15 years. She has completed the gruelling Busselton Ironman (3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42km run) twice and represented Australia four times. Not long after having both knees reconstructed, Suzzanne completed a lift long dream of swimming the 20km Rottnest channel swim solo. In 2013 Suzzanne represented Australia at the World Triathlon Championships in London
5. Life Balance
A key area to a happy and fulfilled business life, Suzzanne will help put your life in balance, by helping you achieve more at work and with your family. Business coaching is not just about the business, it is about achieving what you want out of life. When talking to Suzzanne, one of her greatest achievements in life was having taken a year off to backpack the world with her husband and home school her two children, employing a manager to run the business. Upon their return Suzzanne and her husband decided to sell their business and concentrate on developing their property portfolio in Perth.

Suzzanne has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and has been small business coaching and mentoring, executive coaching and sports coaching for over 10 years. She has a wealth of experience in holding business owners accountable to their goals and commitment. At last count, Suzzanne has coached over 300 individuals to reach their goals and beyond.
